Well apart from A-levels and university, when I joined Mott MacDonald I had to quite a few e-learning courses before starting proper project work. This included site safety awareness, driver awareness, information security, BIM and a lot others. I’ve also done Health and Safety theory training to get my CSCS card.

I went to university but the majority of my training has been on the job. You learn so much more when you are working on a construction site.
