When I was 17 I did a week of work experience at a chemical site and had a tour. The person giving the tour was so proud of the things in the chemical plant that she had worked to design or improve and I thought it would be good to be able to use science/maths to do things like that.

Anyone who has ever built anything cool! big structures, cool buildings etc.. There was a woman who built the Brooklyn bridge in New York, she is pretty inspiring.

Mostly my dad. He was an engineer and I wanted to follow in is footsteps. Also, I loved lego and thought engineering would be similar to playing with lego. Boy was I wrong!!
