I set up 14000 laptops with secure WiFi access for one of our customers.
If I had done that manually I would probably still be doing it now. So I designed a “policy”, which is a bit like a script, that all the laptop users got when they logged in, it told their laptop to go and ask for a Certificate, a bit like a passport or key, to prove who they were.

Then in each of their offices we set up special wifi access points that used the secure keys to validate the users were valid users, and they didn’t have to type in any “Wifi Keys” or pick an access point, it was all done remotely and the users just logged in with a wire connection, then after that they could use the secure WiFi.

After the initial set up I just handed it to another team and they managed which users got the policy. WIthin a few weeks all 14000 users were on the Wifi!
