Engineering is a very interesting and fun career with loads of opportunities. Read up on different types of engineering and see which ones looks appealing to you. From there, try and participate in activities related to those areas to see if you actually enjoy it. That’ll help guide you into the right area. Try talking to people in different areas as well and see what they do. All of this will help you determine if engineering is really for you and what area you think you’ll like. As you go through school you’ll probably learn a lot more as well but try to also get involved in after school clubs as well. These will help feed your passion. I remember in primary school, I signed up for the computer club to learn more about computers (and play games online after school) which really helped guide me into electrical & electronic engineering.

Go for it. The harder you work the better you will become. I would say don’t worry about being the best at certain subjects, you will always learn more on the job. Confidence is king too! If you think you can, then you will ! Make sure you follow a career you enjoy and feel passionate about. Life is too short to do a boring job 🙂
